Team India's young player Sarfaraz Khan is embroiled in a big controversy. Actually, during the Australia tour, news about Team India's dressing room was leaked. Reports had claimed that nothing was right in the dressing room. There was a lot of uproar after this and the biggest question was who leaked the last news. In such a situation, BCCI also called a review meeting after the team returned from the Australia tour. During this, Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir, chief selector Ajit Agarkar and captain Rohit Sharma were present. According to media reports, in this meeting, Gambhir made serious allegations against Sarfaraz and also accused the young player of leaking dressing room matters. Let us tell you, this is not the first time, he has been embroiled in controversies before also.
Sarfaraz Khan made his debut for Team India only last year. He made headlines by continuously scoring runs in domestic cricket. But when he was 13 years old, he was accused of giving wrong age. In 2011, a school accused Sarfaraz of falsifying his age, saying he was much older than he actually was. After this his bones were also examined. After this, during bone age assessment, his age was found to be 15 years, after which there was an uproar.
However, later in an advanced investigation it was proved that Sarfaraz was actually 13 years old. But after the incident, Sarfaraz Khan's confidence was completely lost. Due to this shock, he took a break from cricket and also took the help of a psychologist. After this he returned to the field again. But once he was even thrown out of the training camp in Mumbai due to indiscipline.
Actually, in the year 2015, during the Under-19 Championship semi-final match, Sarfaraz Khan was playing for Mumbai. Then after making the team win the match, he made some objectionable gestures towards the selectors. After this he was dropped from the team. At the same time, as an assurance that he would behave well in future, even his match fees for two years were withheld.
