Yashasvi Jaiswal was the most successful Indian batsman in the Border Gavaskar Trophy played in Australia. He scored 391 runs in 10 innings played there. Despite this, he could not save himself from entering Ranji Trophy. After Rohit Sharma, now there are reports of him also playing. It is being said that Jaiswal has also been asked to report to the Mumbai team for the tournament. Now if all the stars of Indian cricket come together in Ranji Trophy, then interest will increase from January 23. The second half of Ranji Trophy is starting from 23rd January.
According to the report of Cricbuzz, Yashasvi Jaiswal will start practicing with the Mumbai team from Wednesday i.e. January 15. This practice will take place in Bandra Kurla Complex. Mumbai team's first match in the second half of Ranji Trophy is against Jammu and Kashmir team. Yashasvi Jaiswal played all five Tests in Australia. Considering his workload, he was rested from the 5-Test series against England.
After the rest from the England series, Yashasvi has been asked to train with the Mumbai team. But it cannot be said yet that he will play in the match against Jammu and Kashmir between 23 and 26 January. This will be known only when the team is selected on January 20.
