After the poor performance of Team India on Australia tour, BCCI held a review meeting on Saturday. During this period, the Indian Cricket Board has taken many big and tough decisions. Now the players' wives will not be able to stay with them for long on foreign tours. Apart from this, there will be changes in the rules regarding travel and weight of players' luggage. Let us tell you about those 5 big and tough decisions which BCCI has taken in the review meeting.

Wives will not stay together for long on foreign tours

When players are with their families, they naturally spend more time with them. In such a situation, their attention may get distracted and there may be a decline in their game. To deal with this issue, BCCI has now decided that on foreign tours of more than 45 days, players' wives will be able to stay with them only for a maximum of 14 days. Whereas on a tour of less duration than this, the player's family will be able to spend only 7 days with him.

The entire team will have to travel together

BCCI has also made it mandatory for the entire team to travel together. Players will no longer be allowed to travel in their own vehicle or in any other vehicle. They will have to travel by team bus only. During the Australia tour, it was seen that the players were seen roaming separately.

Player will pay if the weight of the luggage is more than 150 KG

In the BCCI meeting, a big step has also been taken regarding the weight of players' luggage. If the weight of any player's luggage is found to be more than 150 kg then BCCI will not pay for it. Rather, whatever extra weight is above this, the player himself will have to pay for it.

Action against Gautam Gambhir's manager also

BCCI has also taken action against the manager of Team India's head coach Gautam Gambhir. Any head coach of Team India has never had his manager accompany him on the team's tours. But Gambhir's manager Gaurav Arora travels with Gambhir during Team India's matches. Gaurav is also seen in the VIP box in the stadium during matches. However, now Gaurav will not be able to travel with Gambhir nor will his entry be in the VIP box. These rules will also apply to managers of other coaches.

Salary may be cut if you do not perform well

Now Indian players may have to face salary cuts if they do not perform well. It was suggested in the meeting that by doing this the players would be more accountable towards the game. If the team loses the match, it can affect the players' pockets.
