Sam's international career started during the fourth Test played in Melbourne. Sam came into limelight by scoring a fifty in his debut match itself. Constas scored a fifty against Perth Scorchers

In the Big Bash League, the match is being played between Sydney Thunder and Perth Scorchers at the Showground Stadium in Sydney on Monday, 13 January. Batting first in this match, 19 year old Sam gave a good start to the Sydney Thunder team along with David Warner. While playing for Sydney, Constas played an inning of 53 runs in 42 balls. In this innings he hit 5 fours and 2 sixes. Constas was dismissed by Lance Morris in the 16th over.

Sydney Thunder scored 158 runs

Sydney Thunder had lost five wickets for 75 runs but Constance took his team to a good score. Even though his innings was not brilliant, with the help of his half century, Sydney managed to score more than 150. Sydney scored 158 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Perth Scorchers team was reduced to just 97 runs.

Constas had an altercation with Bumrah-Kohli in BGT

It is noteworthy that Sam had a heated argument with a legend like Virat Kohli in his debut test itself. Actually, when Sam was batting in the Melbourne Test, Virat Kohli hit him on the shoulder. After this both were seen saying something to each other. This matter was in the news a lot. After this, in the Test played in Sydney, Constus clashed with Team India's veteran bowler Jasprit Bumrah.
