BCCI announced the Indian team's squad for the five-match T20 series against England on the evening of 11 January. The selectors have also given a chance to Abhishek Sharma once again. Let us tell you that Abhishek made his debut in T-20 International in 2024. He has scored 256 runs in 11 innings with the help of one century.

These days Abhishek Sharma is playing in Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT). On January 11, when Team India's squad was announced, on the same day, Abhishek was playing for Punjab in the quarter-final match against Maharashtra. But he flopped in this match. He scored only 19 runs in 16 balls. However, before this he had crossed the fifty-run mark four consecutive times. And because of this he was called again for Team India.
