Some amazing performances are also being seen in the 14th season of the Big Bash League being played in Australia. One such match was played between Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades, in which an innings and partnership was seen which surprised everyone. This was such a partnership in which one batsman scored almost all the runs, while the other batsman could not score even a single run. This amazing thing happened during the batting of Melbourne Stars and the characters of this partnership were Australia's explosive batsman Glenn Maxwell and Pakistani bowler Usama Mir.
These two BBL teams clashed on Sunday 12 January at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Melbourne Stars batted first and the team was all out after scoring 165 runs in 20 overs. If the Stars team could reach here, it was because of the powerful batsman Glenn Maxwell. Maxwell, who recently failed to make a place in Australia's Test team, is continuously venting his anger on the BBL bowlers and this time too the same thing happened, where he played a tremendous inning of 90 runs but could not score a century.
By the time Maxwell came out to bat at number six, the condition of the team had become very bad. The team had lost 4 wickets till the 7th over and the score was only 45 runs. Then in front of Maxwell the score could reach only 75 runs in 11 overs while 7 wickets fell. In such a situation, this batsman took charge and got the support of Usama Mir who came at number 9. From here, Maxwell single-handedly faced the Renegade bowlers and took the news with his explosive batting. From here, Maxwell made such a rain of sixes and fours, which took the team beyond 150 runs.
Just another INSANE Glenn Maxwell knock

By the time Usama Mir was out in the 19th over, he had already made an important partnership of 81 runs with Maxwell in just 46 balls. But the interesting thing is that during this period Usama faced only 5 balls but did not score a single run. In this partnership, Maxwell scored 79 runs in 46 balls, while there were 2 extra runs. Maxwell was out after scoring 90 runs in just 52 balls, which included 10 sixes and 4 fours. This innings of Maxwell took the team into a competitive position and then the bowlers did wonders and bowled out the Renegades for just 123 runs. Stars won this match by 42 runs.
