MS Dhoni is one of the legendary captains in the history of cricket. Not only for the Indian team but also for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. Ahead of the start of IPL 2024, Dhoni passed the CSK baton to Ruturaj Gaikwad, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered for a long time. Dhoni led CSK in 14 of the 16 IPL seasons, helping the side clinch a record-equalling five IPL titles. Dhoni led CSK from the inaugural IPL edition in 2008 to 2023. It was only in 2016 and 2017 when he could not captain the side as CSK were banned during this phase.
