Yograj Singh, father of former Team India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, is often in the news due to his statements. Sometimes Yograj Singh has been in the headlines for making different allegations against MS Dhoni and sometimes for venting his anger on Kapil Dev. No interview of this former fast bowler of Team India passes without some controversial statement. Now a similar statement has come out from the mouth of Yograj but it is not about cricket but about Hindi language. In an interview, Yograj has said that there is no life in Hindi language and it is not the language of men. He called it the language of women.
This new interview of Yograj Singh has come on a YouTube channel 'Unfiltered with Samdhish'. Although in this interview he talked about many aspects related to cricket and as usual showed his aggressive attitude, but this time he has created a ruckus outside the cricket field regarding language. In this interview, he targeted Hindi language and called Punjabi a 'men's language'.
A clip of this interview is currently going viral on social media, in which he is seen giving strange statements regarding the Hindi language. Describing Hindi as the language of women, Yograj said that Hindi does not sound good in the mouth of men. He said, “I like the Hindi language as if a woman is speaking…I like it but when a woman speaks, I like it. When men speak Hindi, it seems like who is this man, what is he saying?”

Then when he was asked what was the language of men, he started talking in Punjabi. He also started talking in Hindi and making jokes while imitating women's voices. He said, “When someone says it in Hindi, I feel as if I am falling… there is no life in it. Yes, when he speaks in Mughal-e-Azam, there was substance in it because there was a mix of Urdu and Persian in it.”
By the way, this is the second statement regarding Hindi in the last few days, on which there is controversy. Just a few days ago, Team India's former veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin had given a statement regarding the Hindi language in a college event in Chennai, after which he has been the target of people. Ashwin had said that Hindi is not the national language of the country but the official language. Since then, Ashwin is being criticized and he is being accused of making fun of the Hindi language.
