The men's team is scheduled to clash in the famous Ashes series played between Australia and England later this year. But before this the Women's Ashes has started. There are to be matches between the two teams in all three formats. But first of all the first match of the ODI series was played from Sunday 12th January. In this match, Australia team defeated England by 6 wickets. With this, we have taken a 1-0 lead in the series. Batting first, the English team scored 204 runs, which Australia chased in 38.5 overs. Ashley Gardner was chosen player of the match for her excellent performance.
