Delhi: Australia's star batsman Steve Smith played a explosive innings while playing for Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League (BBL) on Saturday, 11 January. 35-year-old right-handed batsman Smith scored a brilliant century in the match against Perth Scorchers at the Sydney Cricket Ground. While opening, he scored 121 runs in 64 balls, which included 10 fours and 7 sixes.

Smith made a partnership of 113 runs with captain Moises Henriques (46 runs on 28 balls) for the third wicket. After this, he added unbeaten 58 runs with Ben Dwarshuis (23 runs on 7 balls) for the fourth wicket. Sixers scored 220 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs.

Smith created history by scoring a century while playing his first Big Bash match this season. This is his third century in BBL.
