A BCCI source was quoted by Times of India as saying, 'Mayank is suffering from a back injury and is unlikely to be fit for the England series. He has also not been selected among the probable players for the first Ranji match of Delhi's second leg against Saurashtra from January 23.

Mayank Yadav has played 3 T20 matches for Team India so far. During this period he has taken 4 wickets at an average of 20.75. The special thing is that he has spent runs at an economy rate of 6.91 only. Mayank Yadav had bowled a maiden in the very first over of his debut match. Apart from this, Mayank Yadav has also been retained by Lucknow Super Giants team for IPL 2025, for which they have spent Rs 11 crore.
