These days the third season of SA20 is being played in South Africa. In this month-long T-20 league, a total of six teams are competing for prize money worth crores. Along with South Africa, players from different countries are also playing in this league. The first match of the new season was one-sided. But the second match played between Durban Super Giants and Pretoria Capitals was very exciting. The match went till the last ball and Afghanistan's fast bowler Naveen Ul Haq gave his team a thrilling victory by two runs.

Batting first in the match, Durban Super Giants scored a big score of 209 runs losing 4 wickets. Veteran New Zealand player Kane Williamson, who made his SA20 debut, returned unbeaten after scoring 60 runs in 40 balls. Whereas Bryce Parsons contributed 47 runs off 28 balls. Senuran Muthusamy was the most economical for Pretoria Capitals. He achieved 3 successes by spending 21 runs in 4 overs.

In response to the target of 210 runs set by Durban Super Giants, Capitals got off to a flying start. Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Will Jacques played stormy innings. Jacques scored 64 runs in 35 balls. Whereas Gurbaz scored 89 runs in 43 balls. There was a partnership of 154 runs between the two for the first wicket. Despite this, Pretoria team could score only 207 runs, the reason for which was Naveen Ul Haq.

Naveen turned the tables on the last ball

Capitals' second wicket fell at 169 runs and then there was a flurry of wickets. The second match of SA20 2025 between Durban Super Giants and Pretoria Capitals had taken a very exciting turn. By 19 overs, Capitals had scored 196 runs losing 6 wickets. He needed 14 runs to win in the last over.

However, Pretoria Capitals could not do this due to Naveen's tight bowling. Naveen had spent 10 runs in the first five balls. Capitals needed 4 runs on the last ball and Steve Stolk was on strike. But he could score only 1 run and Pretoria team lost the match by 2 runs. Naveen-Keshav Maharaj took one wicket each. Whereas Noor Ahmed and Chris Woakes got two successes each.
