Glenn Maxwell did not get a place in Australia's Test team, but immediately after the selection, Maxwell did such a miracle, after which he is in the headlines. Maxwell thrashed the Sydney Sixers bowlers in the Big Bash League. This right-handed batsman scored unbeaten 58 runs in 32 balls. Maxwell hit 5 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. Out of these three, one six was so amazing that every fan is surprised to see it.
Maxwell hit an amazing six off the ball of Ben Dvortius in the 14th over of Melbourne Stars' innings. This ball was a full toss and instead of playing it in front, Maxwell played a reverse lap shot and delivered it for a six. Maxwell often plays such shots and he is once again showing his magic in the Big Bash League. Maxwell not only played such shots but also took the team to a respectable score.
When Maxwell came to the crease, the condition of Melbourne Stars was thin. The team had scored only 60 runs in 9.3 overs and 4 wickets had fallen. Players like Duckett and Stoinis had also made their way to the pavilion. After this, Maxwell came to the crease and hit 3 sixes and 5 fours in 32 balls, taking the team's score to 156 runs.

Glenn Maxwell has performed well in the Big Bash League so far. He has scored 131 runs in 6 matches at an average of 32.75. He has hit 10 sixes and 8 fours. These figures are excellent for a middle order batsman. However, Maxwell will definitely be sad that he did not get a chance to return to the Test team. Recently Ponting had said that if Maxwell is selected in the Test team, it will be like taking a step back.
