Varun Chakraborty bowled brilliantly in the pre-quarterfinals of Vijay Hazare Trophy and restricted Rajasthan's innings to just 267 runs. At one time the Rajasthan team was moving towards a big score but the team faltered badly in front of Chakraborty's mystery spin. Varun Chakraborty single-handedly eliminated half of the Rajasthan team. This right-arm spinner took 5 wickets for just 52 runs. Varun has staked his claim to play the Champions Trophy with his excellent bowling.
