Amidst the speculations going on for the past several days, on Wednesday, January 8, Dhanashree shared a statement on her Instagram account. Dhanashree wrote that the past few years were difficult for her and her family. Expressing her disappointment and anger over the various media reports about her and the claims made by users on social media, Dhanashree wrote, “What has troubled me the most is the absurd news, which is not fact-checked and is faceless. Those trolls, who are trying to kill my honor by spreading hatred.”

Many users have been trolling Dhanashree on social media saying that she has used Chahal's popularity. Dhanashree spoke very harshly on similar allegations also. The social media star wrote, “I have worked hard for years to build my name and reputation. My silence is not my weakness, but my strength. “Negativity spreads very easily online but it takes courage and generosity to lift others up.”

Although he neither took Chahal's name anywhere nor denied or confirmed the rumors of his divorce, he did say that the truth will stand firmly in its place. Dhanashree and Chahal were married in 2020. Both of them met during the nationwide lockdown due to Coronavirus. Dhanashree, a doctor by profession, also ran her own dance class, where Chahal had contacted her. It was from here that their love blossomed and then both of them got engaged in August 2020, after which they also got married in December of the same year. Recently, both of them had been married for 4 years but neither of them had made any kind of post for each other on social media, whereas on the last anniversary they had been posting like this. Due to this, fans started sensing a rift in their relationship.
