The first Kho-Kho World Cup is going to start from January 13 at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Delhi. In this tournament, there will be exciting matches in both men's and women's categories, in which a total of 39 teams will participate. There will be no India-Pakistan Kho-Kho match

According to media reports, due to delay in getting the visa, Pakistan team will not be able to participate in the first Kho-Kho World Cup to be held in New Delhi. The Pakistani team has not received the visa yet. In such a situation, the first match of the Indian men's team will be against Nepal on 13 January. Speaking to Indian Express, Kho Kho World Cup COO Geeta Sudan said, 'When we made the programme, we expected it to go as per plan. But it's not really under our control, the Ministry of External Affairs has not approved his application, so it seems there is no possibility of him playing. Let us tell you, recently there was a lot of conflict between the two countries regarding the Champions Trophy. Now its effect is being seen on other sports also.

Now the men's matches in the Kho-Kho World Cup will begin with the first match between India and Nepal, which will be played at 8:30 pm Indian time. League stage matches will be played till 16 January. After this, the playoff matches will start from January 17. Whereas, the final will be held on January 19 at 8:15 pm Indian time. On the other hand, a total of 19 teams will be seen playing in the women's competition.

In the men's competition, 20 teams have been divided into four groups. The Indian team's group includes teams from Nepal, Peru, Brazil and Bhutan. Apart from these, South Africa, Ghana, Argentina, Netherlands, Iran, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, South Korea, America, Poland, England, Germany, Malaysia, Australia and Kenya are also part of this tournament.
