When the Sri Lankan team was chasing the target set by New Zealand, Nathan Smith of New Zealand took a catch which is being praised by everyone. Will O'Rourke bowled the 29th over of Sri Lanka's innings. Ashan Malinga was there to play the last ball on strike. Will O'Rourke bowled the ball to Malinga, who hit it quickly. The ball took the edge of his bat and went back towards the boundary line. Nathan Smith showed amazing agility and caught the ball by jumping in the air. When Smith caught the ball, he was completely in the air. Like Spider-Man, he completed the catch while in the air. With this, Eshan Malinga's innings came to an end.

New Zealand won the series along with the match

Batting first in this match, New Zealand team scored 255 runs in 37 overs. Rachin Ravindra played the highest innings of 79 runs. Daryl Mitchell contributed 38 runs. For Sri Lanka, spinner Mahesh Teekshana took a hat-trick and took four wickets. Wanindu Hasaranga took two wickets.

Kamindu Mendis played the biggest innings for Sri Lanka while chasing the target of 256 runs from New Zealand. He scored 64 runs in 66 balls.
