India's regular Test captain Rohit Sharma is not playing the Sydney Test. There was a lot of talk about his not playing the last test, including his retirement. However, now Rohit himself has come forward and put an end to all the rumours. Rohit said that he is not retiring and will continue playing. Also told that he has taken the decision of not playing the last test in the interest of the team. During this, Rohit Sharma also targeted the Australian fans and said that they have to be silenced.

Jatin Sapru and Irfan Pathan talked to Rohit Sharma during the lunch break after the first session of the second day of the Sydney Test. Rohit spoke openly on everything from not playing the Sydney Test to speculations about his retirement. Rohit was seen discussing about his captaincy. He said that the decision taken as captain may be wrong but it does not mean that your thinking is bad.

Rohit further said, we would have liked to go there and lose the match. Who thinks that we don't do what we should do? Let's do something else and beat the team. Everyone has to win the match and look at the involvement of the crowd here, we have to come and silence their crowd. And which team has come here and won the series twice, please tell me. It was and is a golden opportunity for us. We can't win the series but we can draw it. Don't let them (Australia) win either.

Rohit Sharma has been a flop in the series
