The Champions Trophy 2025 will be hosted by Pakistan and played in hybrid model. India will play its match in neutral venue Dubai. It was believed that this was going to cause big loss to the Pakistan Cricket Board. But he has found a way to compensate for this. His lottery is going to be held in Champions Trophy. Actually, according to the report of Pakistani media, PCB will earn a lot from the India-Pakistan match to be held in Dubai, because half of the ticket money will go to it. Apart from India, half of the ticket earnings in the other three matches to be held in Dubai will also go to the PCB.
Pakistan media report quoting sources has claimed that PCB is going to reach an agreement with Emirates Cricket Board. Negotiations for this have reached the final stages and will soon be officially signed in writing. Under this agreement, PCB will earn from the 4 matches to be held in Dubai. ECB will give him half of the ticket price.
Let us tell you that the total capacity of Dubai International Stadium is 25 thousand spectators. The high voltage match between India and Pakistan in the Champions Trophy is also to be held there. Apart from this, India will also face New Zealand and Bangladesh in the group stage in Dubai. A semi-final of the tournament is also to be held in the Dubai stadium. Full house is expected in all these matches. This means that PCB will earn crores. For example, if ECB earns Rs 100 crore by selling tickets, then PCB will get Rs 50 crore.
However, PCB has found a new way of earning its money. But if the Indian team succeeds in reaching the finals, it may also suffer a loss. The reason behind this is that then the title match will have to be shifted from Lahore to Dubai. Due to this, Pakistan will not be able to earn money from tickets and other sources.
However, according to the report, 4.5 million dollars i.e. about Rs 38 crore will be given separately as compensation for the hybrid model of Pakistani board. Apart from this, it will be given 65 million dollars i.e. about Rs 558 crore as hosting fee for the Champions Trophy.
