Cameron Bancroft- Daniel Sams injury: Two players of Sydney Thunder got injured in the match against Perth Scorchers in the 22nd match of the Big Bash League. All-rounder Daniel Sams and opener Cameron Bancroft collided with each other while trying to take a catch. This collision was so dangerous that both the players almost lost consciousness on the field itself. Both Sams and Bancroft were taken to hospital. It is a matter of relief that both the players are better now and both have completely regained consciousness.

Tragic accident in Big Bash League match

This accident happened in the 16th over during the bowling of Sydney Thunder. Perth Scorchers batsman Connolly played a shot in the air on the ball of Loki Ferguson. The ball was between mid-wicket and deep mid-wicket. In such a situation, the players deployed in both the areas ran to catch that ball. Both the players had their eyes on the ball and they could not see each other and collided with each other. The mistake made by both the players here was that they did not call for catch. Often when the ball goes between two fielders, one fielder calls for catching but both Sams and Bancroft did not do this.

This collision was very dangerous

Both Daniel Sams and Cameron Bancroft have suffered serious injuries. Sams remained lying down after the collision, he was feeling dizzy. After this he had to be taken out of the field on a stretcher. On the other hand, Bancroft did not complain of concussion but he suffered a serious injury to his nose. If reports are to be believed, he has suffered a fracture in his nose.

There was a collision in BPL also

The interesting thing is that a similar incident was seen in the Bangladesh Premier League match also. In this match, there was a fierce fight between Shabbir Hossain and Shafiul Islam of Darbar Rajshahi team. This accident also happened while trying to catch. In this, Shabbir suffered a painful injury on his mouth.
