A tragic accident occurred during the second Test being played between South Africa and Pakistan in Cape Town. Saim Ayyub got injured while fielding. This accident happened in the 7th over during Pakistan's bowling. When Saim Ayyub dived to stop the ball from Abbas, his ankle got twisted and he started suffering badly due to pain. Saim Ayyub was in so much pain that the physio came running to the field. He tried to relieve Job from pain but it could not happen. After this, Job tried to stand but that too was proving impossible for him and in the end he had to be taken out in the wheel chair.

Saim Ayyub has been taken to hospital after suffering a painful injury where his right leg will be examined. It seems that his ankle is broken and may require surgery. If Ayub is out of the match, it will be a big blow for Pakistan because this left-handed batsman is in amazing form. Ayub batted well in the ODI and T20 series against South Africa.
Pakistan's opener Saim Ayub was failing in the Centurion Test. Although he got a good start in both the innings. He could score only 14 runs in the first innings and 27 runs in the second innings. Pakistan could have won that match but the pair of Kagiso Rabada and Marco Janson made an excellent partnership and helped South Africa win by 2 wickets.
