Mumbai: The Mumbai Indians franchise is riding high after two consecutive wins in the Indian Premier League after getting their season off to a disastrous start. The team seems to be in the right frame of mind ahead of the big game against Chennai Super Kings on Saturday at the Wankhede stadium. Former MI captain Rohit Sharma, who has been in the news frequently in recent times, was spotted driving the MI team bus after a training session. After the video surfaced on social space, fans are loving it and it has also gone viral in no time.
Here is the clip:
MI are currently in the seventh spot in the points table with two wins in five games. Rohit has amassed 156 runs in five games at a strike rate of 167.74. Rohit would be expected to get MI off to a good start against CSK as that would lay the foundation for the rest to follow.
Amid all the speculation over Rohit’s retirement, the India captain confirmed that he has not thought on those lines yet.
“I haven’t really thought about retirement. But, I don’t know where life takes you. I am still playing well at this point in time – so I am thinking I am going to continue for a few more years and then, I don’t know. I really want to win the World Cup and there is a WTC final in 2025, hopefully India makes it,” said Rohit on Breakfast With Champions. .
