Four matches of the five-match Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 have been played. The final match of the series will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground. India and Australia will face each other in Sydney from 3 to 7 January.
The men's team will return to India after the Australian tour. After a few days' rest, India will play eight consecutive matches against England at home. These include five T-20s and three ODIs. After playing the last ODI against England, Team India will fly to Dubai. ICC Champions Trophy will be played in Dubai and Pakistan from 19 February to 9 March. All India's matches will be held in Dubai. The Indian team will play the first match against Bangladesh on 20 February, the second match against Pakistan on 23 February and the third match against New Zealand on 2 March. After this, if Team India qualifies for the semi-finals, then the match will be played in Dubai on March 4 and if it qualifies for the final, the match will be played in Dubai on March 9.

The next season of the Indian Premier League will start as soon as the Champions Trophy ends. The first match of IPL 2025 will be played on 14 March. The final will be held on 25th May.

The Indian women's cricket team will play a three-match ODI series against Ireland at home in January. All three matches will be played in Rajkot on 10, 12 and 15 January.
The Indian team will play eight matches on the England tour. First there will be five T-20 matches and then 3 ODI matches.
