It is said that company creates quality and company creates quality. Now you must be aware of the explosive style and temperament of 13 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi. But, his friends are also no less. He is 5 years older than Vaibhav. But in the absence of senior players, 17 year old Ayush Mhatre has established his dominance in such a way that you don't even have to ask. He has rained runs for Mumbai with his bat. The band of Nagaland bowlers played in such a manner that it was a sight to behold. And, all this was visible on the pitch of Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Ayush Mhatre opened the thread of Nagaland batsmen

On December 31, Mumbai will face Nagaland on Vijay Hazare's pitch. Coming to bat first in the match, 17 year old Ayush Mhatre and Angkrish Raghuvanshi started the innings for Mumbai. Both the batsmen rained runs as the opening pair. Played in such a way that 156 runs were put on the score board for the first wicket itself. Angkrish was out but Ayush Mhatre was still standing at the crease. And, this was more bad news for Nagaland. It was soon seen why Ayush Mhatre's stay at the wicket was bad news for Nagaland.

Ayush Mhatre's stormy century and Mumbai's second big score

Ayush Mhatre scored 181 runs facing 117 balls against Nagaland. That means he remained just 19 runs away from his double century. His innings, played at a strike rate of more than 154, included 11 sixes and 15 fours. This is the first century of the 17 year old batsman's List A career. Thanks to this century from Ayush's bat, Mumbai scored 403 runs for 7 wickets in 50 overs against Nagaland. This is the second highest score of Mumbai team in List A cricket.

Ayush Mhatre is Vaibhav Suryavanshi's partner

17-year-old Ayush Mhatre is the same batsman who was smashing India's opponents shoulder to shoulder with Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the recently concluded Under-19 Asia Cup. Along with Vaibhav, he had finished the ODI match against Japan in just 16 overs. Ayush Mhatre has also shown his same sharpness and attitude in batting in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for Mumbai.
