Jasprit Bumrah has created history in Test cricket. He has completed his 200 wickets in Tests. He is the first bowler in the world to achieve this feat with an average of less than 20. He wrote the script of this history by taking the wicket of Travis Head in the second innings of Australia in the Melbourne Test. Simply put, he has become his 200th victim in the head test. Bumrah not only created history by taking his 200th wicket but also spoiled the fun of Head's 31st birthday.
Travis Head turns 31 years old on December 29, 2024. Australia was expecting a big innings from him on his birthday. But, like in the first inning, Bumrah did not delay in returning Head to the pavilion in the second innings as well. Head, who came to bat on his 31st birthday, could score only 1 run.
