On the fourth day of the Melbourne Test, Team India came out to bat after scoring 358 runs at the loss of 9 wickets. Australia's aim was to bat after taking the last wicket of the Indian team as soon as possible. In the third over of the day, Pat Cummins bowled a brilliant yorker, which was blocked by Siraj and the ball went into the slips. After this the Australian team started celebrating the wicket. On this the onfield umpire asked for help from the third umpire regarding the catch. The third umpire declared Siraj not out after seeing the replays. Cummins was surprised at this and started arguing with the umpires.
