'This love is not easy, understand this much, it is a river of fire and you have to drown.' This famous couplet has been said, heard and read for many years. This couplet has also been used by changing one or two words according to different circumstances. So, if we change these famous words of Jigar Murabadi a little in the context of cricket, then the point comes out - 'It is not easy to run with Kohli, understand this much, the pitch is a river of fire and you have to get out.' Team India's young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal himself faced this on the second day of the fourth test match against Australia in Melbourne. Virat Kohli is known for his fitness, agility and fast running but still he is often at the center of run outs. Run outs that change the situation.

Australia made a big score of 474 runs on the second day of the match at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Then Team India had a bad start and captain Rohit Sharma was out early, while KL Rahul also kept walking. After this Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli took over the innings. Both of them formed an excellent partnership and took Team India to a good position. There was a century partnership between the two and Team India seemed to be in control but then the match turned and the reason was run out.

Jaiswal run out, Team India wobbles

On the last ball of the 41st over, Yashasvi Jaiswal played a shot towards mid-on and ran straight for the run. Kohli just kept looking at the ball and started refusing Jaiswal. However, by then it was too late and Jaiswal returned after being run out on the score of 82. Its effect was visible on Team India and within the next 4 overs, Virat and Akash Deep were also out. All this happened in the last 20 minutes of the day, which spoiled the entire game of Team India. But this is not the first time when a run out at a crucial juncture has derailed Team India and during this time only Kohli has been at the crease.

Third time within 6 tests in 2 months

This is the third such occasion within the last 2 months. Earlier on November 1, Shubman Gill was at the crease with Kohli in the last over of the first day of the Mumbai Test match against New Zealand. Team India had scored 84 runs after losing 3 wickets and Kohli had come to the crease in the last over itself. But in the last over, Kohli tried to take a close single and was run out himself. He was out after scoring only 4 runs in the last over of the day and Team India missed out on making a big score. The result was ultimately defeat.

In the previous Test also, Kohli was a part of a run out. It was the third day of the Pune Test and Team India was chasing a huge target of 359 runs. Team India had lost the third wicket at the score of 127 runs, after which Rishabh Pant came to the crease. Kohli was already standing. Kohli played the ball towards backward point and went for a run but this was also a risky single. Instead of refusing Kohli, Pant started running but Mitchell Santner quickly ran him out. Pant could play only 3 balls and could not even open the account. Team India faltered from here and lost by a huge margin.
