Apart from the cricket action, the fourth match of the Test series between India and Australia in Melbourne came into discussion for another reason. While inside the field there was a fierce competition going on between the teams of India and Australia, outside the field there was a conflict going on between Indian citizens living in Melbourne and Khalistan supporters. According to the information, many Khalistan supporters reached outside the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and were raising anti-India slogans in the stadium. Seeing him, the Indian fans present there also started giving him a befitting reply by waving the tricolor flag.

Tried to spoil the atmosphere, got a befitting reply

On Thursday 26th December, a large number of fans had reached MCG for the Boxing Day Test match. Among them, not only were the fans of host Australia, a large number of Indian fans were also present, who were waving the tricolor. Many fans were also present outside the stadium and during this time some Khalistani supporters also reached there and were waving their yellow flag. According to reports, these Khalistan supporters wanted to enter the stadium without tickets but the security personnel stopped them. These people wanted to raise anti-India slogans in the stadium.

This could not happen but these few Khalistani supporters started raising slogans outside the stadium itself. Not only this, these miscreants also insulted the Indian tricolor. Seeing all this, many Indian fans present there reached there waving the tricolor and responded to the foul language of these Khalistanis in the same manner and raised slogans in favor of Indians. Before both the parties could come close to each other and the situation could go out of control, the policemen present there immediately intervened and removed the Khalistani supporters from there.

Australia is in a better position

As far as the match is concerned, the first day was a mixed bag for both the teams. Although Australia is slightly ahead of Team India. Australia made a fast start with the help of an explosive half-century in the debut innings of young opener Sam Constants. Along with him, Usman Khawaja also scored a strong half-century, while Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith, who came after these two, also scored excellent half-centuries.
