In Paris Olympics 2024, while Neeraj Chopra was the javelin thrower from India, Arshad Nadeem was the javelin thrower from Pakistan. There was a fight between these two players for the gold medal. In this match Neeraj Chopra had to face defeat from Arshad. Nadeem won gold while Neeraj won silver medal in Paris Olympics. Neeraj's throw was 89.94 meters. Whereas Nadeem had won the gold medal for his country with a throw of 92.97 meters.

Neeraj won gold in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics
