The third Test between India and Australia was played at Gaba ground. This match was badly affected by rain. Many times the match had to be stopped midway. Repeated rain interruptions had troubled the players. Only 216 overs could be bowled in the entire match and the result ended in a draw. Now a similar fear is being raised regarding the fourth Test to be held in Brisbane from 26th December. Let us know what the weather department has predicted for MCG regarding this.

How will the weather be in Melbourne Test?

Team India and Australia have practiced extensively for the Melbourne Test. Both the teams are ready for an exciting match. But before this, the possibility of rain disruption has been expressed. According to the Australian Meteorological Department, it will be sunny in the morning on the first day of the game. But as the game progresses, the sky will become cloudy. There is a possibility of rain up to 50 percent, while during this time strong wind will blow, whose speed can be 35 to 50 kilometers per hour.

This means it may rain in the second and third sessions. However, the probability of rain on the second day is only 20 percent. There is a possibility of 50 percent rain on the third day also. But the weather may remain clear on the fourth and fifth days. There is a possibility of only 10 and 5 percent rain on both these days. To put it plainly, there may be light rain only on the first and third day. This means that the adverse effect of weather will not be much in the match.

Rohit Sharma's new plan

Meanwhile, Indian captain Rohit Sharma has come up with a new plan for the fourth test. According to the report of Times of India, he can once again come to his original batting position i.e. opening. Whereas KL Rahul can be sent at number 3. Apart from this, Team India can take the field with two spinners. In this match, Nitish Reddy can be dropped and Washington Sundar can be given a chance. On the other hand, Australia has announced its playing XI. Pat Cummins has made two changes. He has included Sam Constas in place of Nathan McSweeney and Scott Boland in place of Josh Hazlewood.
