Delhi: Former Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Adam Gilchrist has reacted to the controversy regarding DRS in the match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Actually, Rishabh Pant had a heated argument with the on-field umpire regarding the DRS call on a wide ball. This incident happened in the fourth over of the match against LSG on Friday. Lucknow won the toss and decided to bat first against Delhi team. Meanwhile, Ishant Sharma bowled the fourth over, the fourth ball thrown by him was declared wide by the umpire. Pant felt that it was not wide and appealed for review. Umpire gave DRS call. However, when the review revealed that it was a wide ball, Pant argued with the field-umpire that he had not asked for a review. The argument between them lasted for three to four minutes.
