West Indies has announced its 15-member team for the Pakistan tour. West Indies will play two test matches on Pakistan tour. Spinner Gudakesh Moti has returned to the 15-member team. A player has joined the West Indies Test team for the first time, who recently created a stir in the ODIs. 27 year old batsman Aamir Jangu has been selected in the team for Pakistan tour. Recently he made his ODI debut and also achieved the feat of scoring the fastest century on debut. 27-year-old Aamir Jangu recently scored a century on his ODI debut against Bangladesh.

Got place in test team after just 1 ODI

Aamir was also in the playing eleven of West Indies in the last match of the three-match ODI series played between West Indies and Bangladesh. He was playing his first ODI. During this period he completed his century in 80 balls. He had scored 104 runs in 83 balls. 6 fours and 4 sixes came from his bat. Aamir had created history by becoming the batsman who scored the fastest century on debut in ODI. Apart from this, he also proved to be only the second player for West Indies to score a century on ODI debut. It is noteworthy that after playing only one ODI, Aamir has got a place in the Test team.

The command of West Indies Test team against Pakistan is in the hands of Craig Brathwaite. Wicketkeeper batsman Joshua de Silva has been made the vice-captain. Left arm spinner Gudakesh Moti has made a comeback in the Test team. Moti was not a part of the Test series against Bangladesh. The test series will start from 16 January 2025. The first match will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi. The second match will start from January 24 at Multan Cricket Stadium.
