Ben Stokes' injury is showing no sign of leaving him. For the second time in 4 months, the England all-rounder has been hit by the same injury. This is a hamstring injury. Stokes has again suffered a hamstring injury, due to which he will have to stay away from cricket for 3 months. Ben Stokes has a hamstring injury in his left leg. Stokes suffered this injury during the third Test against New Zealand, in which England lost by 423 runs. However, England won the series 2-1.
The hamstring injury suffered by Ben Stokes has come to light for the second time in 4 months. Earlier, he had suffered this injury in August this year too, when he was playing for Northern Superchargers against Manchester Originals in the Men's Hundred. Then due to hamstring injury he stayed away from cricket for 2 months.
Now only a month had passed since 33-year-old Stokes returned to the England team when the same injury again caught him and the result was that he stayed away from cricket for 3 months. The England and Wales Cricket Board informed about Stokes' hamstring injury after his scan report came out on 23 December.

Due to the latest hamstring injury, Stokes was not selected in the England team for the ODI series against India and the Champions Trophy. ECB has also said in its statement that he has not got a place in the team on medical grounds. Stokes has not played an ODI match since November 2023. Due to injury, Stokes will also stay away from the SA20 league. There are speculations that his return could now be from the Test series against Zimbabwe in May next year.
