Apart from this, he told that S Singh, in-charge of Aakriti Hospital, has decided to provide free treatment to Kambli throughout his life in his medical facility. This means that Kambli will no longer have to face the problem of money for treatment. Now he will be able to get his Izaak done for free.

Earlier, seeing Kambli's condition, Team India's veteran cricketer Kapil Dev, along with his 1983 World Cup teammates, had decided to help him and asked him to go to rehab. After this, 52 year old Vinod Kambli also accepted Kapil Dev's offer and expressed gratitude for the help.
