Delhi: Australian opener Nathan McSweeney has admitted that he is disappointed after being dropped from the team for the last two Test matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. However, he has resolved to work hard and make a place in the team again. McSweeney has been dropped from the team and young Sam Kontas has been included, which has seen a big change in Australian cricket.

19 year old Sam Kontas now has a chance to break a historical record.

As soon as he joined the team, he made a special achievement in his name. Kontas has played 11 first-class matches so far as an opener, in which he has scored 718 runs at an average of 42.23, which includes two centuries and three half-centuries. If he gets a chance to debut in the Melbourne Test, he will become the fourth youngest Australian player to play men's Test cricket.

If Kontas plays in the Melbourne Test at the age of 19 years and 85 days, he will surpass Clem Hill and move to fourth place in this list.

Also, he will become Australia's youngest opener and break the record of 19 years and 149 days set by Archie Jackson in 1929.
