With this, he achieved the feat of hitting 100 sixes in the history of the league. He has become only the 7th batsman to do so in BBL.

Short reached top-3

Chris Lynn holds the record for hitting most sixes in the history of BBL. He has hit 208 sixes in 121 matches. Ben McDermott is second with 123 sixes and Glenn Maxwell is third with 122 sixes. Darcy Short is seventh in this list with 101 sixes in 94 matches. Short completed his fifty in just 33 balls. He scored 60 runs in 41 balls at a strike rate of 142.

Thanks to this inning, Short has now achieved the feat of scoring 3000 runs in BBL. He is only the third batsman to do so in this league. Chris Lynn holds the record for most runs in the history of Big Bash League.

He has scored 3737 runs in 121 matches at a strike rate of 148. He is at second position after scoring 3311 runs with a strike of 131 in 107 matches. Now Short has also scored 3010 runs in 94 BBL matches at a strike rate of 131 and has come in the top-3 in this list.
