Lucknow: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star pacer Mohammed Siraj is struggling with poor form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. He has failed to make an impact so far this season and his poor form remains a matter of concern, hence former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has given important advice to the team management of RCB regarding this player. Let us tell you that Bengaluru's performance so far in IPL 2024 has been disappointing and the main reason for this has been their bowling. Earlier Siraj used to be successful in taking wickets with the new ball for RCB but this time he has not been able to do so.

If we talk about Siraj, he played his last IPL match on 11 April against Mumbai Indians (MI). In this match too, he disappointed everyone and spent 37 runs while bowling 3 overs against MI. During this period he did not get any wicket and this season it has been almost the same story. Harbhajan has given a big statement during the conversation on Star Sports on Siraj.

He said, “If I was part of the team management of RCB, I would have given rest to Siraj. This is the same Siraj, who has bowled well with the new ball and has also been seen taking wickets. He has been doing this in every format of cricket. Siraj has been a champion bowler for both Team India and RCB. I think Siraj is very tired. He is tired both physically and mentally. They need to rest. “He has played a lot of cricket in recent times and bowled a lot of overs while playing the Test series against England.”

Mohammad Siraj is struggling with poor form in IPL 2024

The 30-year-old has played a total of 6 matches in IPL 2024 so far and during this period he has bowled poorly. The right-arm fast bowler has conceded a lot of runs and has not even been successful in taking wickets. In 6 matches, he has taken only 4 wickets and during this he has given away runs at an economy of 10.41. Seeing this poor form of Siraj, Harbhajan has advised him to take rest.
