Mumbai: In what could be termed as a major setback for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru side, Australian star Glenn Maxwell is set to miss the next game versus Sunrisers Hyderabad. Maxwell is likely to be out of the match due to a thumb injury as reported by News 24. Maxwell has not been in good form lately and has faced criticism for it. He registered a four-ball duck against Mumbai Indians on Thursday at the Wankhede. It was Maxwell’s third duck of the season in six games.
Maxwell registered zero in the first match, three in the second, 28 in the third, zero in the fourth, one in the fifth match and zero again in the sixth match. In total, Maxwell has scored just 32 runs in six matches.
