After sweeping Sri Lanka in the two-match Test series at home, South Africa is now playing a three-match T20 series against Pakistan. However, during this match, former Pakistani captain Rameez Raja gave a statement regarding Shaheen Shah Afridi, which surprised everyone.

Shaheen got injured during the match

In this match, South Africa's batsmen achieved the target of 207 runs given by Pakistan with three balls to spare. He took great interest in the Pakistani bowlers. Haris Rauf spent 57 runs without taking any wicket. Whereas Shaheen Afridi also did not get any wicket. He spent 37 runs. However, Shaheen also got injured while bowling.

All this happened in the 17th over of the innings. A sharp shot from Rassie van der Dussen came straight towards Shaheen, who was bowling. Shaheen tried to avoid the ball but it hit his collarbone. After this Afridi groaned in pain and held his shoulder with one hand. After this the physio came to the field to examine him. But if Afridi had made a mistake, the ball could have hit his face.

Rameez Raja said – is this a good thing or not

When this accident happened with Afridi on the field, Rameez Raja was doing commentary and during this, Rameez Raja made a statement which shocked everyone. From his words it seemed that he was not very happy with Shaheen's escape from injury. The former chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board said, 'His face was not injured. Don't know whether this is a good thing or not. That is, a player survived an injury that could have proved fatal to his career, and instead of expressing relief, Rameez started raising questions about whether it was good for him to avoid the injury or not.

Afridi has been Rameez's target before also

This is not the first time that Rameez has given a strange statement. Even before this, Rameez had given a statement against Afridi. Recently, when Pakistan lost the T-20 series against Australia on its own soil, Rameez had said on Shaheen proving expensive, 'These are problems and these problems will remain.
