Delhi: The ICC has ended the ongoing suspense regarding the ICC Champions Trophy on Friday. While giving a big decision regarding the Mini World Cup to be hosted by Pakistan next year, the ICC has approved the proposal of hybrid model for this tournament. After which now this tournament to be hosted by Pakistan will be organized in Dubai along with Pakistan.
ICC approves hybrid model for Champions Trophy
BCCI clearly refused to send the Indian cricket team to Pakistan for this tournament to be held in February-March next year. Since then there was a continuous dispute between the two boards. While BCCI proposed a hybrid model for the tournament, the Pakistan Cricket Board was adamant on its stand. But ultimately PCB had to bow before BCCI and ICC gave its decision in favor of India regarding this tournament.
India's matches and semi-finals and finals will be held in Dubai.
ICC gave its decision after a long wait and approved the proposal of hybrid model for the tournament. After which now apart from the matches of India, the semi-final and final matches of this tournament will be played in Dubai, while all the remaining matches will be played in Pakistan.
