Pakistan cricket team's experienced all-rounder Imad Wasim has once again announced his retirement from international cricket. Left-arm spin all-rounder Wasim announced through social media on Friday 13 December that he is retiring from international cricket. Wasim was out of the Pakistani team since T20 World Cup 2024. Imad has announced retirement for the second time in the last one year. Earlier, he had retired in November 2023 but then this year he returned to international cricket again just before the T20 World Cup.
Imad announced his retirement in a message addressed to his fans. He wrote in it that after much thought, he is retiring from international cricket. Describing playing for the Pakistani team as the most honorable moment for him, Imad said that coming on the field wearing the green jersey was always memorable for him. Thanking the fans for their support all the time, Imad said that his journey will continue in domestic cricket and franchise tournaments.
