The suicide case of Bengaluru AI engineer Atul Subhash has become a topic of discussion these days. Atul had revealed in his 24-page suicide note that his wife Nikita had made many false allegations against him and his family like dowry and domestic violence. Also, for divorce, the wife had asked for Rs 3 crore as alimony. Fed up with this, he had to take this step. Such a case has also happened with Zorawar Singh, brother of veteran Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh. However, after fighting the case, his family got relief from it.
Apart from his father Yograj and mother Shabnam, Yuvraj Singh has a younger brother in his family, about whom very few people know. Zorawar is associated with the field of acting. He married Akanksha Sharma in 2014 at the age of just 21. Their marriage did not last long and after 14 months both of them filed for divorce with mutual consent.
After this, Akanksha entered Salman Khan's famous reality show Bigg Boss, where she made many serious allegations against Yuvraj Singh's family like domestic violence, dowry, forcing her to give birth to a son. However, all these allegations later turned out to be false. According to the report, none of these reasons were mentioned in the divorce papers.
However, in 2017, she separately filed a petition in a local court in Gurgaon against Yuvraj and his family under domestic violence charges. Regarding this, Akanksha's lawyer had said that no physical harm was done to her. But he has been subjected to mental and financial torture. When mother Shabnam put pressure on the children, Yuvraj and his brothers remained silent. Yuvraj took his mother's side. Therefore the entire family has been made an accused.
After Akanksha's allegations, Yuvi's brother Zorawar revealed that he shifted to Gurgaon on her request. But she used to party till late night. Often she returned home under the influence of alcohol and other types of drugs. When Yuvraj's family asked her to tone it down, she would get angry and fight. Apart from this, she used to make many financial demands including money, if not fulfilled, she would create ruckus.
Yuvraj's mother Shabnam Singh filed a defamation case of Rs 2 crore regarding the allegations. After the case continued for some time, Akanksha agreed to compromise in 2019. According to the report, a legal document with two main conditions for reconciliation was prepared. According to this, Akanksha admitted that whatever allegations she had made were wrong. Also issued a public apology in the name of the Crown Prince and his entire family. In response to this, Yuvraj's mother withdrew her case.
