The first match of the 3-match T20 series between the teams of Zimbabwe and Afghanistan was played at the Harare Sports Club in Harare. Zimbabwe team started the series with victory by winning this match. This was a low scoring match whose result came on the last ball. But something like this was seen in this match, which rarely happens in international cricket. In fact, during the match, an Afghanistan bowler had to bowl 13 balls to complete his over, because this bowler had lost his line and length.
This match was no less than a nightmare for Afghanistan's fast bowler Naveen Ul Haq. Naveen Ul Haq is one of the most important bowlers of Afghanistan in the T20 format, but today was not his day. Actually, during Zimbabwe's innings, Naveen Ul Haq bowled the 15th over, in this over he had to bowl 13 balls to bowl 6 legal balls. During this period, Naveen Ul Haq also bowled 6 wide balls and 1 no ball, due to which he spent a total of 19 runs in this over.
Naveen Ul Haq started the over with a wide and then spent 1 run on the first legal ball of the over. After this, Naveen bowled the second ball, a no ball, on which a four also came. But before bowling the free hit ball, he bowled 4 wide balls consecutively. After this, there was a four on the free hit also. However, he got a success on the third ball of the over. Even after this he could not bowl in the right line and length. He gave 2 runs on the next two balls, but once again bowled a wide ball, after which he was successful in bowling the last legal ball of the over, on which 1 run came. In such a situation, he bowled 13 balls for 6 legal balls.

In this match, Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bat first, but they could not put a big total on the board. Afghanistan team could score only 144 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. At the same time, this run chase was not easy for Zimbabwe too, they won by scoring 1 run on the last ball of the match. However, apart from one bad over, Naveen Ul Haq bowled well, taking 3 wickets for 33 runs in 4 overs, but that one over became the reason for the defeat, otherwise the result could have been different.
