After the Test series ended in a draw, West Indies has now won the ODI series against Bangladesh. They won the series by defeating Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the second ODI. It would not have been easy for West Indies to win this ODI series if it had not prevented Bangladesh from giving its 12th injury. Or he might not have put an end to his string of injuries. Here injury means defeat on the field. Before the start of the ODI series against Bangladesh, West Indies had lost 11 consecutive ODIs. But, it defeated Bangladesh by 5 wickets in the first ODI and by 7 wickets in the second ODI.
West Indies now have an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-ODI series. Meaning, they have captured the series and now preparations are on for a clean sweep. If West Indies wins the third ODI on December 12, then it will be a clean sweep in the series.
Talking about the second ODI, Bangladesh batted first. But he could not stay on the wicket even for 50 overs in front of the devastating bowling of West Indies. The entire Bangladesh team was all out after scoring only 227 runs in 45.5 overs. The most successful bowler for West Indies was Jayden Seales, who gave the best performance of his ODI career.
