After winning the series from Sri Lanka, South Africa reached the first position in the WTC points table and pushed the top-ranked Australia to second position.

The result of the second Test match played between Sri Lanka and South Africa came in the first session of the fifth day of the match. On the last day, Sri Lanka needed 143 runs in 95 overs to win in its second innings. Sri Lanka had 5 wickets left. But South Africa bundled them out for 238 runs and won the match by 109 runs and also won the series. With this victory of South Africa, apart from Australia, India also got a shock. If Sri Lanka had won this match, Team India would have moved from third place to second place in the points table. But after South Africa's victory, Team India remains at third position.

South Africa will play the second match within two days

The second Test played between South Africa and Sri Lanka started from 5 December. This match ended on 9th December. Whereas now South Africa will be seen playing the second match within two days. Actually, the series of three T-20 international matches between South Africa and Pakistan is starting from 10th December. The first match of the series will be played at Kingsmead in Durban. This match will start at 9:30 pm Indian time.

South Africa-Pakistan will also clash in ODI-Test series

The second match of the three-match T20 International series will be played on 13 December and the third match on 14 December. It is noteworthy that in the T-20 series, South Africa-Pakistan will play two matches in two consecutive days. After this, the three-match ODI series will start from December 17. The second ODI will be played on 19 December and the third match will be played on 22 December. After this, the first Test of the two-match Test series will be played from 26th December and the second Test from 3rd January.
