Suryakumar Yadav Made A Powerful Comeback Against RCB

Suryakumar Yadav made his second appearance after a lengthy break due to an injury sustained during the South Africa series in December 2023. When asked about his return to form after a duck in the previous game, Suryakumar jokingly remarked that he had never really left. Meanwhile, social media has been buzzing with amazing reactions from the fans to the brilliant knock of Suryakumar Yadav. Check out the reactions of fans: Speaking to the official broadcaster, he mentioned that mentally, he stayed connected with the Mumbai camp even during his recovery at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. "It's always good to be back at Wankhede, when the tournament started I was mentally here only, although physically in Bangalore (recovering from the injury), it felt like I never left," Suryakumar Yadav said. He added: "When you are chasing 200, it is important to know the dew factor and take your chances, both Rohit and Ishan did the job for us at the 10th over mark and we only knew that we had to finish early for that net run rate thing." When questioned about his ability to play 360-degree shots all around the park, Suryakumar Yadav reiterated that he dedicates significant practice to these shots and focuses on finding his angles during matches. "I just try to play to the field and practice these shots and it is just muscle memory (talking about his freak shots) and I go out there and enjoy myself. The slice over point is the one that I enjoyed the most. The management told him (Ishan Kishan) to go out and enjoy, he has worked really hard on his batting and is just enjoying the fruits now," SKY wrapped up his comments by praising Jasprit Bumrah, who took 5 wickets that day. Yadav mentioned that he considered himself fortunate to not have faced Bumrah in the nets over the past few years, as it often led to either a broken bat or a broken foot. "It's been almost 2-3 years since I batted against him (Bumrah) in the nets, because he either breaks my bat or breaks my foot," SKY concluded.
