Abhishek Sharma has created history in T20 cricket. He has equaled the Indian record of fastest century. The left-handed opener did this feat against Meghalaya in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy. Playing for Punjab, Abhishek completed his century in just 28 balls. In this way, he has equaled the record of Gujarat batsman Urvil Patel.
Gujarat's wicketkeeper batsman Urvil Patel had created a new Indian record by scoring a century in 28 balls in a match played in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy on 27 November. Now Abhishek Sharma has also equaled him. This is the sixth century of Abhishek Sharma's T20 career.
