Australia Playing XI For Second Test vs India: Australia has announced its playing XI for the second Test match of Border Gavaskar Trophy against India to be held at Adelaide Oval from Friday (6 December).

Let us tell you that this is a day-night match and will start at 9.10 am as per Indian time. Fast bowler Josh Hazlewood is out of this match due to injury and Scott Boland has got a chance in his place in the team.

Boland has returned to the team after a long time, he played his last Test match against England in July 2023.

All-rounder Mitchell Marsh has become fit for this match. Let us tell you that after the first Test played in Perth, there was doubt about Marsh's bowling fitness. But now he is completely fit to bowl in this match. In the Perth Test, he bowled 17 overs including both the innings and took three wickets.

How has Boland's performance been against India?

Boland has played only 2 test matches against India so far, in which he has taken 5 wickets in his account.

He took 3 wickets against India in the World Test Championship final played at The Oval in June 2023. After his debut in 2021, he has played a total of 10 Tests so far, in which he has taken 35 wickets in his name.
