The speedster was on a hat-trick twice and didn’t give any chance to the batters. He had a dream start as Virat Kohli couldn’t handle him and was back in the dressing room after scoring 3 runs off nine balls.
Bumrah returned and took two wickets each in an over to complete his second fifer in the tournament’s history. Former India player Navjot Singh Sidhu compared him to Waqar Younis.
Jasprit bowled a toe-crushing yorker to Mahipal Lomror, who had no answer to the bowler’s brilliance and registered a golden duck. The batter was in pain and was seen checking on his foot after being hit by the fast bowler.

Despite Bumrah’s impressive bowling, RCB managed 196/8 in 20 overs. Dinesh Karthik played aggressively, smashing 53 runs off 23 balls with the help of five fours and four sixes. Apart from him, Rajat Patidar struck 50 off 26 balls, packed with four sixes and three sixes.
