South Africa (SA) and Sri Lanka (SL) are all set to take on each other in the second Test of the ongoing series. Both sides will lock horns at St George's Park , in Gqeberha , from Thursday, December 5 . The first Test of the series resulted in a resounding win for South Africa.

Both the teams faced off in the first Test at Kingsmead, in Durban, from November 27 to November 30. The clash began with the Rainbow nation coming in to bat first and posting a total of 190 runs in the first innings of the game. Skipper Temba Bavuma played a stellar knock of 70 runs, and following that performance, the Proteas managed to put in a just as impressive showing with the ball.

As Sri Lanka came out to bat, South Africa's bowling attack proved to be too much to handle for the visitors. Sri Lanka was bundled out for just 42 runs in the first innings of the game, as South Africa looked exceptional with the ball.

Furthermore, in the second innings, the Proteas declared on a score of 366 runs, giving the visitors a target of 516 runs to chase down. In response, Sri Lanka only posted 282 runs as the Proteas won the game by 233 runs in a dominant fashion.
